" Well, it's official. Albus Dumbledore, a hero of the phenomenally popular Harry Potter series and headmaster of the wizarding school Hogwarts, is gay.
In a surprising new Potter twist, author J.K. Rowling outed Dumbledore at New York's Carnegie Hall in front of 2,000 Potter fans during a question and answer session Friday night.
Rowling went on to explain that Dumbledore fell for Gellert Grindelwald, his childhood friend with similarly brilliant wizarding skills, who eventually went over to the dark side and became the predecessor to the infamous villain Voldemort. That love, explained Rowling, was Dumbledore's "great tragedy."
Many fans were thrilled with the announcement.
"This is a victory for homosexuality the world over," one wrote. "Dumbledore is iconic, and I can't wait for all those little children to hear about this. I am so insanely proud of [Rowling] for doing this.""

SOMEONE RESTORE MY FAITH IN HUMANITY, GODDAMMIT RIGHT NOW!!
'Highlights' from watching the Bratz movie trailer:-
* "BFF, WOOO!!!" everything i thought this movie would be in instantly summed up.
* "this is gonna be set in a high school, i bet its gonna be set in a high school, i bet they're starting high school...yup. high school."
* Cliques, an over-powered blonde and cat-fighty, low-key fighting and high-pitched screaming. Theyre not even checked off a list, theyre encoded into the movies DNA.
* "Be ourselves, just like we used to." I got concussion from being hit in the head so hard with the moral message...
*state of balance > obstacle arises > loss of balance > conflict resolved. ahh the generic 'can be brain-stem dead and youd still not have to think about it' movie format lives on
*oh! a talent contest, not home-coming/student president battles...well i should have guessed, there are 4 of them after all. oh look they can all sing and dance. executive producer: hillary duff.
*"show some raditude!" I cant even say anything about this. RADITUDE.
annnnd just incase the movie was in danger of not being generic enough, lets push in some cheerleading, shopping and makeovers in the end there. oh and little fluffy dogs. cant forget little fluffy dogs.

PLEASE allow us to play this game in original language format, the Seiyu sound so freakin' awesome, especially evil dude. We dont mind subtitles! honest!

My man Hiro has an obviously fake, but legitimate blog created by NBC on their heroes website. I loves it.
And whats equally cool is that people actually post replies as if it was real, unlike on that whole lonelygirl15 debacle. Yay for everyone supporting its fake authenticity! I think there must be something about us fan boy/girl otaku's that make us better than other people, we can run with some wild fantasy as if it was real life, and i love that.
